NEW “Safe” Levels of Ionizing Radiation Announced by Officialdom
“No danger from Fukushima radiation”, so say the officials at the IAEA and WHO. So why have radiation monitoring stations for air, land and sea been abruptly taken off line? Elevated levels of radiation have been reported in dairy products, crops and fish in Japan almost immediately after the accident. Yet officials are claiming these levels are safe for human consumption – even though shortly thereafter, genetic mutations have been reported in plants and insects. I guess we are to believe that there are ‘new’ safe levels of ionizing radiation exposure even though scientific evidence has historically proven exposure, never mind ingestion of these materials causes irreversible cellular destruction and DNA mutations. “Move along, nothing to see here…”.
